So, You Want to Go to College...
A lot of English language students want to go on to college. They may be discouraged to learn that it usually takes at least four years to complete the bachelor's degree.
But there are ways to shorten the time.
One of the easiest ways is to get credit for what you already know. You just take a test called the "College Level Exam" (CLEP), and, if you do well enough, most colleges will give you college credit.
The tests are available locally, and they cover a variety of subjects, like math, science, history, and yes, even English. Are you good at math? Take the CLEP test and get 3 credits for Algebra. American History? Six credits. Spanish another six.
With a little effort you could find yourself with fifteen college credits -- equal to an entire sixteen-week college semester. You will have saved not only time, but money too, because the tests are much cheaper than a typical college course, which could cost $1,000.
So, if you want some college credit, go to the CLEP website. There is plenty of information there.
And if you need some help, just give us a call. Our course of study will help you reach your goal.
